Bedroom 2: Purple Partition Wall

Bedroom 2 gets a purple wall. This is a partition wall erected to created a small clothes changing area which leads into the bathroom (It's too small to be called a proper walk-in wardrobe).

From our perspective, the partition serves a number of purposes:

• Separate clothes changing area with small area for clothes storage enhances privacy for room users
• Partitioning off part of the room reduces air-conditioner load.
• Place for children to play hide and seek  (inevitable use rather than function I guess)
• Blocks bathroom entrance from view.

We also realised that because the partition blocks the bathroom entrance, there may be a tendency to leave the water heater switch on and not realise it since the red light would not be easily visible from outside the partition. For that reason, we are installing an e-saver timer switch.
